Morning Garden, Under 3 & Me, our infant-toddler program.
A weekly morning class where you and your baby or toddler learn and grow together.

The Morning Garden room
Morning Garden is our infant-toddler program, for children under three and their grown-ups. Babies and toddlers spend unhurried mornings with a parent or caregiver: songs, simple play, natural materials, and no screens. The hour is calm and companionable.
Infant classes meet in one of our classrooms, in small groups of four or five families. Two classes run, and your baby joins the one that matches where they are in learning to move. Before mobility is for babies not yet on the move. On the move is for babies crawling, scooting, pulling up, and cruising along the furniture.
Toddlers and their grown-ups share a rhythmic outdoor morning of songs, movement, and a warm snack offered by the teacher. As children walk and their hands come free, speech emerges and the group slowly builds a sense of we.

What to expect
Morning Garden: Under 3 & Me
In weekly classes, babies and toddlers spend unhurried mornings with their grown-ups: songs, simple play, natural materials, and no screens in sight. It is not daycare. It is a second home for the earliest years, one morning at a time, guided by an experienced Waldorf early childhood educator.
For infants (with their grown-up)
There are two classes, and your baby joins the one that matches where they are in learning to move. Before mobility. For babies not yet on the move: finding their own hands, reaching for their toes, rolling, each in their own time. On the move. For babies crawling or scooting, pulling up, cruising along the furniture. The hour is calm and companionable.
For toddlers (with their grown-up)
As children learn to walk and their hands come free, speech begins to emerge, and with it a richer social life; the group slowly builds a sense of we. While the children play, adults talk with the teacher about child development, parenting, rhythm at home, meals, sleep, and screens.
Why it matters
The first three years ask more of a parent than any other, and they go by fastest. Morning Garden gives you time to slow down and watch your child, the company of families in the same season, and a gentle introduction to raising children with childhood first. It is not a class you drop your child at. You build it together.
A few of the questions we talk through together
Child development and parenting, meals and mealtime rhythm, healthy sleep, gentle discipline in the early years, and how to bring intention to screens and technology at home. You are never alone with these questions here.

What this looks like in practice
Babies and toddlers spend unhurried mornings with their grown-ups: songs, simple play, natural materials, and no screens in sight. Infant classes meet in one of our classrooms in small groups of four or five families, and your baby joins the class that matches where they are in learning to move.
What parents notice at home is steadier rhythm. Songs from the morning come back at bath time. Your child reaches for a wooden spoon, not a screen. You leave with something to try that week, and other families to compare notes with.
