How to apply

Our admissions process is designed to be informative, personalized, and thorough. We want families to understand the unique aspects of Waldorf education and to make sure there is a good match between the student, family, and school. Applications for the next school year will open in October. Please reach out to enrollment@waldorfatlanta. org to schedule a conversation.

Submitting an inquiry form is the first step in learning more about The Waldorf School of Atlanta.

Visit WSA

Come to an in-person tour, an open house, or a classroom observation. Seeing the school firsthand is a crucial step. It is how you get a real feel for the educational approach and the school culture, beyond what any brochure can say. Register for events through the inquiry form, then select the ones that fit your schedule.

Submit Application

Start the application by signing into your Ravenna account. Select The Waldorf School of Atlanta from the school directory and click Apply. Complete the application for admission and submit the application fee. If you already have a Ravenna account, check that your contact information is current. Where they apply, request teacher recommendations, school records, standardized test results, and other evaluations through Ravenna.

Decisions & Notifications

Admissions decisions start going out in mid-March. If your child is accepted, you finish enrollment by signing a contract, paying a deposit, and completing the remaining forms before the first day. Set your email account to accept messages and notifications from enrollment@waldorfatlanta. org so nothing lands in spam.

What this looks like in practice

At most Waldorf schools, the admissions process begins with an inquiry form. Parents submit it, then receive information about programs and next steps by email. From there, families register for tours, open houses, or classroom visits, often through an online portal. That first form also flags which events still have space, so parents can plan their season.

A predictable routine is what lets a young child relax. When drop-off looks the same each morning, the goodbye gets shorter. When rest and meals happen at the same times, a child knows what comes next and cries less. Parents notice this at home too: a child who has had a full, settled day eats dinner and sleeps better. A steady early childhood day builds that calm.
