Morning Garden

In Morning Garden, our infant-toddler program, the youngest children are together with a parent or caregiver. The room is calm and simple, with time for play, songs, and rest. Children explore at their own pace, and adults stay close. Ask about the schedule and how to join.

Early Childhood

In the Early Childhood classrooms, children bake, garden, paint, and gather to listen to stories. Play is the work here: children choose their own play, build with their hands, and learn together. Teachers hold the rhythm of the day, and the room stays calm and unhurried.

Lower School

Lower School is where curiosity and a love of learning take hold. Children learn to knit and garden, play an instrument, and grow through movement and games. Lessons come through the arts as much as through books. Ask about the subjects and how the day is paced.

3-day Preschool

Our preschool rooms are play-based. Children choose their own play and learn by doing. They bake, garden, paint, and gather for stories. Teachers keep the day steady and unhurried. For forty years, screens have stayed out of the school day. Ask which days fit your family.

Preschool

4-day Preschool

Four days a week gives a child a little more of the same good work. In the room, children bake, garden, paint, and gather to listen to stories. The extra day each week adds more time for play and for being with the same friends. The rhythm is steady and the days feel unhurried.

5-day Preschool, Pre-K, or Kindergarten

Five days a week suits a child who is ready for the full classroom rhythm. Each morning is play-based, hands-on, and social. Children bake, garden, paint, and gather to listen to stories. Screen-free days keep childhood hands-on, social, and real. Families can ask how the week is paced across the days.

Grades 1 and 2

Grades 1 and 2

In Grades 1 and 2, one teacher typically stays with the same children as they move through the grades, building trust over time. Class teachers are often certified through accredited Waldorf teacher training institutes and keep learning every year. Ask who your child's teacher would be.
