Summer at WSA keeps the magic going, with weeks of camps for every age. Garden and nature days for the youngest. Theater and stagecraft. Farm-to-table cooking from our own garden. Art and music. Hiking, and more. Questions about ages, dates, and fees can go to the school office.
Camps run in week-long sessions throughout June and July. Campers ages 3 to 7 spend their mornings in Summer Garden, a gentle program of rhythmic outdoor play, crafts, and stories. Rising 1st through 8th graders choose themed camp weeks thoughtfully led by WSA teachers. Groups are kept small, typically between 12 and 16 campers. Come morning, campers settle into a rhythm the day hangs on. The youngest spend it outdoors, digging, building, and hearing stories. Older campers move into whatever theme their week holds: a stage to build, a kitchen to cook in, a trail to walk. Weeks are kept small so every camper is known by name, and each session ends with something made or done.
Weeks outdoors and away from screens give children a different kind of summer. They come home tired in the good way, with pockets full of found things and a story about what they built. Small groups mean a shy child gets pulled in, and a busy one gets room to move. Ask our Camps Director about the weeks that fit your child.
