The Board of Trustees carries the legal and financial responsibilities of the school. Its work includes reviewing and approving the budget, fundraising, site planning and development, and accountability. Members are dedicated to the school's Mission, and the Board is always looking for people interested in joining the work. The Core Faculty is a leadership group drawn from the full faculty and staff. Members take on special responsibility for the school's care and guidance. They hold the cultural and spiritual life of the school and keep it aligned with Waldorf principles. That covers the educational program, the festival life, and school policy on student admissions and support. Ask the office who serves this year.
Inside the building, the people who hold the school steady are often the ones families see least. Board members meet to review the budget, plan the site, and keep the school accountable.
