Support for every learner
Learning Specialists work alongside class and specialty teachers to understand each student. That can mean differentiated instruction, classroom accommodations, or supplemental support. Support is woven into the school day rather than bolted on. Because a class teacher stays with the same children for years, patterns get noticed early and known deeply. Hands-on, experiential teaching reaches visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners alike.
How support works here
We are open about what we offer and where it ends. Students entering grade 4 and above are asked to be at or above grade level. When a child's needs go beyond what we provide, we partner with outside professionals and say so plainly. The right school is the one where your child can thrive.

What this looks like in practice
Support rarely looks like a separate room. A specialist may sit beside a child during a lesson, adjust how a task is presented, or hand the teacher a different way in. Parents usually see it as small changes in the daily work, not a label. Ask what your child's support looks like in practice. Ask what you can do at home.
What you notice at home is often small. Your child stops saying "I can't" before sitting down to draw. They bring home a page they finished instead of one they crumpled. They tell you who they sat beside at lunch. That steadiness carries into evenings, because a child who held it together all day has less to unload at the kitchen table.
