How the Annual Fund strengthens the day your child spends here, and how families can help.

Support Dropdown
Tuition is kept reachable on purpose. The Annual Fund is how.
While tuition covers most of our annual expenses, the Annual Fund provides the additional support needed each year to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and sustain the unique, community-centered experiences that define our school. If you’re on campus, keep a lookout for the colorful wool bands wrapping around the tree near the carpool drop-off area.
Every Family Shows Up in Its Own Way
A meal train, a work day, an hour in the classroom, a gift: this school runs on people deciding to show up. That is why we count participation rather than compare amounts.
The Sun Circle
Families, grandparents, alumni, and friends who give $1,000 or more in a year are recognized as members of our Sun Circle. Members are listed by name in our annual recognition, never by amount. Anyone who prefers to remain anonymous simply tells us. If you are considering a leadership gift and want to talk it through first, we would welcome that conversation.
Other Ways to Give
Have a question about giving, a gift of stock, or a matching gift through your employer? Reach Mae Hill, Development Director, at development@waldorfatlanta. org or (404) 809-3777. She can walk you through the options and help you decide what works for your family.
What this looks like in practice
Giving looks different for every family, and that is by design. Some bring a meal during a busy week. Some come to a work day. Some spend an hour in the classroom. Some give a gift. The school counts participation rather than comparing amounts. When families give at any level, the school can keep the hands-on, community-centered experiences that children carry home with them.
